Your Wedding Reception
Pacific Palms Recreation Club has a number of different venues within our club which are perfect for wedding receptions. Choosing your venue depends on the number of guests you are expecting, your menu choice and the style of day you require.
The Auditorium
Our spacious open plan Auditorium is perfect for formal or informal receptions. This room boasts air conditioning, bar, elevated stage, large dance floor and a private terrace with breathtaking views over Wallis Lake. This room can comfortably accommodate up to 150 seated guests with the option for either plated or buffet dining. The Lawn
Surrounded by tropical palm trees overlooking the glistening lake, the lawn area creates a less formal yet inviting atmosphere for your guests. This is an ideal area for a personalised marquee setting or your romantic reception under the stars.

Lower Deck
The Lower deck is the perfect area for a cocktail style reception. Capturing the breeze straight off the lake, this area can cater for groups up to 60 and is ideal for fingerfood and canapé menus.
The Bistro
For smaller groups we are able to section off our dining room to cater for your reception. This room will comfortably seat up to 60 of your guests and gives you the option of having a set menu.
Decorations & Table Plans
Our Club can offer a variety of seating plans, depending on the number of guests and style of reception you desire. We are more than happy to offer our assistance with the choosing of your decorations, seating plans and table arrangements.
All decorations and arrangements you provide will be set and arranged by our function staff.
The cost of our venue includes the hire of all table linens, including cloth napkins. If you prefer coloured paper napkins, these can be supplied to match your colour scheme.
Menus & Beverages
We offer a variety of Wedding menus to suit all reception styles as well as budgets. From simple yet sophisticated buffet menus to more formal and elegant Alternate drop menus. All our menus are flexible so if there is a special meal you would like us to serve on your day, please do not hesitate to ask. You can see our Functions Menus here.
You can allocate an amount for your bar tab with no minimum spend applicable. Please understand that as we are a fully licensed club we cannot accommodate any form of self catering.
Entertainment
Your choice of entertainment comes down to personal choice. We boast facilities to accommodate live bands as well as DJ’s. If you require assistance locating local entertainment, please don’t hesitate to contact our Event Coordinator for assistance.
