Pacific Palms Recreation Club

The Pacific Palms Recreation Club (locally known as The Recky) is situated on the shores of beautful Wallis Lake at Pacific Palms.

The Club started from humble beginnings. In 1958, the locals of the Pacific Palms community used to join together for a keg of beer on Sunday afternoons. If the entire keg was not consumed on the day the local Milko, Roy Taunton, would store the keg for later use. By 1964, they decided to band together to request a liquor license, and by 1968 had purchased the current site that the Club sits on. The Club House was built in 1969.
